Terms of Service

LAST UPDATED: 15 JULY 2026

The agreement

These terms govern use of the KUCO platform at www.kuco.co.za. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the business you represent.

The service

KUCO provides business operations software (inventory, staff, payroll, invoicing, multi-store management and related modules) and a supplier compliance module that lets a business maintain one compliance record and share it with corporate customers it approves. We may improve or change features over time; we will not materially reduce the core service you pay for without notice.

Your account and your data

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the information your business enters, including compliance answers shared with corporate customers.
  • You control who on your team has access, through the roles you assign.
  • Your data remains yours. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
  • You can export your operational data at any time using the built-in export tools.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in South African Rand through Ozow instant EFT.
  • Operations is priced per store; the Supplier Compliance module is priced once per business and covers all its branches. Current pricing is shown on the billing page before any charge.
  • A corporate customer may sponsor part or all of a business's module cost; where a sponsorship is active it is applied before we charge you.
  • New accounts receive a 30-day free trial. You can cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to access another business's data or interfere with the security of the platform.
  • Do not submit information you know to be false to a corporate customer through the compliance module.
  • Do not use the platform for anything unlawful.

We may suspend accounts that breach these rules, with notice where practical.

Corporate customers

Corporate portal accounts are provisioned by agreement with KUCO. A corporate customer sees only the businesses that have accepted its invitation, only through its own reporting template, and only the documents those businesses have explicitly shared with it. Corporate customers must treat supplier information as confidential and use it only for legitimate procurement and compliance purposes.

Liability

We provide the service with reasonable skill and care, but KUCO is a tool, not professional advice: outputs such as payroll calculations, tax estimates and readiness scores depend on the data entered and should be checked before being relied on. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law, including under the Consumer Protection Act where it applies.

Ending the agreement

You may cancel at any time. We may terminate for material breach that is not remedied after notice. On termination you may request an export of your data within 30 days, after which it will be deleted except where retention is legally required.

General

These terms are governed by South African law. If we update them materially we will notify account owners and update the date above. Questions: hello@kuco.co.za.
